Assessor's Office 2024 Detail Review of Property Characteristics

The Assessor's Office does a Detail Review of every parcel in the county on a five year rotation schedule.  

For 2024 Residential, Land, and Greenbelt* in the following areas are being reviewed:  BEAR RIVER CITY, DEWEYVILLE, ELWOOD, GARLAND, HONEYVILLE, and TREMONTON CITY areas.  

So when you see us out in the neighborhoods, give us a hello and a wave. Our vehicles are marked as Box Elder County.

*Greenbelt: ALL parcels which are being assessed as Greenbelt usage are subject to a detail review/audit at anytime throughout any year.  If the Assessor's office finds that the property no longer complies with The Farmland Assessment Act as explained in Standard 7.9.0 (withdrawal from FAA), the property will be reclassified and assessed the Roll-Back taxes.
