Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 Whistle Stop in Brigham City

All Aboard for a Historic Moment in Brigham City! 

Join us on July 22, 2024, from 9:00-9:15 AM at the Forest Street Crossing for the Union Pacific Big Boy Westward Bound Tour Whistle Stop! 

The majestic Big Boy locomotive, built exclusively for Union Pacific Railroad and first delivered in 1941, will make a brief stop in our town. Measuring 132 feet long and weighing a staggering 1.2 million pounds, this is a sight you won't want to miss! 

Parking is available at Rees Pioneer Park, or simply walk over from your nearby home or business to witness this marvel of engineering.

Safety Tips:
1. Stay at least 25 feet away from the tracks.
2. Keep a close eye on children and pets.
3. Bring hearing protection if you're sensitive to loud noises.

The Big Boy will also be on display at Ogden Union Station on July 20-21.
