Box Elder County Celebration of Trees Open House

Monday, December 2, 2024 - 8:00am to 8:00pm

Box Elder County Celebration of Trees Open House December 2nd 8-8pm

Ho ho ho, Mrs. Claus here with some delightful news straight from my friends at the Box Elder County Commissioners Office! They’re inviting YOU and your loved ones to kick off the holiday season with some magic, sparkle, and cheer at our very first Celebration of Trees!

Here’s the scoop, my dears: the County Departments have been busy working alongside Santa’s elves, creating the most festive Christmas trees you’ve ever seen! On Monday, December 2nd, we’re opening the doors of the Historic Courthouse from 8 AM to 8 PM, so you can tour this beautiful, historic building, say a merry hello to the County Commissioners, grab a little treat, and—drumroll, please—vote on your favorite Christmas tree!

Each tree will be decorated to represent a different county department, and by the end of the evening, the winning department will be crowned with the most festive bragging rights in all the land! But that’s not all! These dazzling trees will stay up through December during business hours, so even the tiniest elves in your family can pop by and feel the Christmas magic all month long.

Most importantly, bring your littlest ones to see Santa after you vote for your favorite tree. Santa will be at the Bill of Rights Plaza, where the Christmas Village awaits with holiday cheer for all. So, bundle up, bring your holiday spirit, and join us as we celebrate the wonderful people of Box Elder County and the joy of the season! We can’t wait to see you there!
